Touchdown!

We went to the beach last weekend and had a great time relaxing, sleeping, eating, and doing nothing as a family. Sunday, it rained from the time we woke up until we went to bed. I think the boys got a little stir crazy by night time and started playing football or 'touchdown' as they called it. They did this for at least 30 minutes straight until Holt finally just laid there exhausted. Listen for Holt to say 'ready' and 'touchdown'.
We have decided to give Pierce the full duty of teaching Holt how to talk. Its amazing, if Jason or I ask Holt to say anything or repeat it he won't. He's just a little strong willed :) However, he will repeat almost anything Pierce says to him. Pierce literally went through a whole book the other day pointing to each word and Holt would repeat every word back to him. And then I tried with no success. He looks up to his big brother just a little bit I think.

Snow Day

Daddy attempted to sled down our hill..with not a lot of success

Holt got bored with the snow and decided he'd play baseball instead.

Pierce and Holt thoroughly enjoyed the big (all 2 inches!) snow of 2009 on Tuesday.

I want out!

I took this picture of the boys one night when we were waiting for daddy to get home. Does anyone else feel like they want out about this time every night?! I asked them to turn around and look at me..I thought it was cute they both turned around with hands in mouth with the same grin.

Christmas Photos

We decorated cookies with some friends the week of Christmas. This is Holt licking the plate with leftover sprinkles and then looking up at me to make sure I saw him.

Pierce and Joel in their shepard costumes waiting to go into church.

Christmas Morning..stocking time!

We had a great Christmas. Jason's parents, Corie & Daniel, and Aidan and Brody came up the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with us. We stayed here for Christmas and flew up to Philadelphia for a few nights the day after. The boys loved Christmas and all the excitement that came with it. Pierce was in his school Christmas program and the Christmas Eve one at church. We was a ham in both which took us by suprise. We were just hoping he would enjoy doing it this year. They loved flying to Philly and we had a fun time being with my dads family.
