Here are a couple cute things the boys said this week...
We were at the pool one day and Holt said, "Mommy, watch me do a Camden ball." I didn't have the heart to tell him it was a cannon ball, its top cute to change, so I'll just let him figure it out.
Pierce was getting out of the bathtub tonight and said, "Mommy, I'm not going to go to college." Jason and I just looked at each other, thinking where did that come from. And then I remembered when he followed it with, "I'm not getting rid of my toys." My mom and I took the boys to see 'Toy Story 3' today. I tried to tell him he could give his toys away to someone who would love them, like Andy did. But he decided he is going to keep all his legos, he doesn't want to give those away.

Determined...
When he wants to do something, he is going to do it. He won't really let me know how high he can count and surely won't do his letters or sing a song if asked, but when he decides he is going to do something there is no stopping him. We couldn't fit his bike in the back of the car on the way back from the beach so we had to take the training wheels off. So when we got back I was asking Jason to please put them on before he went back to work. Holt was adamant that we keep them off even if this meant mommy couldn't help him by herself when all three were in the cul-de-sac. I think he practiced with daddy twice and with me for a few minutes tonight and off he went.

Lost a Tooth

Pierce lost his first tooth last Monday. It had been loose for a good month but he had some good help from Holt in the end and then daddy did the final pull. I wasn't too jeolous I wasn't home for this first and he got to pull it out. He is very proud of it and just today told me he has another one loose. He called my parents at the beach to tell them about it and was telling them how Holt assisted, "first he punched me with a pipe last night and then he was wrestling with me today with a beanbag and it hit me and then my dad pulled it out." So if anyone needs assistance getting those loose teeth out, just give Holt a call. When we were putting them to bed that night and Pierce was putting his tooth under his pillow, Holt looked at me and said, "Mommy is the tooth fairy not going to take all my tooth?" When we got up the next morning he showed me that the tooth fairy didn't take any, I don't think he quite got the concept.
